Generic responsibilities
Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.ย Overall coordination between Finance Focal Points of Local Partners / Financial Technical Reference Groups.ย Financial analysis and reporting of Local Partnersโ financial expenditures and comparison of actual with the forecast.ยSpecific responsibilities
Generic professional competencies:ย
Minimum 5 years of experience of financial management in humanitarian, recovery, and/or development context, preferably in consortia or partnerships.ย Experience in working with refugees, IDPs, and returnees.ย Experience related to at least five of the activities carried out in local partner, i.e. ICLA, Shelter, WASH, Livelihoods, Governance, Nutrition, Advocacy, Education, Agriculture, Emergency Response, Citizen Charters Programme, Food Security, Natural Resource Management, Health, Demining, etc. Fluency in English and a national language, both written and verbal.ย Bachelor's in business management/administration, Financial Management/Administration, Accountancy, masterโs degree is preferred. Knowledge of the refugee, IDPs, returnee context in Afghanistan Knowledge of the above-mentioned donor financial reporting requirementsย Experience in Finance, and Procurement.ย Ability to work with stress and under high time pressure.ย Excellent ability to work independently with very limited supervision.ยBehavioral competencies
