Job description

The development worker advises the HVCT vocational training institute on the development, implementation and dissemination of demand-oriented, practical training and further education offers in the field of wastewater technology as well as the development and implementation of concepts for increased cooperation with industry, e.g. within the framework of short-term courses. The aim of the activity is to further qualify the specialist teachers and management theoretically, practically and didactically, to supplement the existing wastewater technology curriculum, which has been developed according to German quality standards, to other colleges and to expand cooperation with the business community. The position is integrated into the project \"Programme Reform of Vocational Education and Training in Vietnam\", which is commissioned and financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Your tasks

Promote the further training of the specialist teachers and management of the HVCT vocational training institute and other vocational training institutes in the field of wastewater technology Develop concepts for the implementation of practical training courses in cooperation with industry and the positioning of the HVCT as a national centre for vocational education and training Advise on the implementation of cooperation with companies, in-company training phases and development partnerships with industry.Advise and support the further dissemination of the developed training modules and approaches at other vocational training institutes Advise on workshop management and laboratory concepts in accordance with international occupational safety and environmental protection standards Advise the college on cross-cutting issues such as green vocational training, inclusion and gender

Your profile

Specialist in wastewater technology, environmental technology or similar relevant areas Experience in the dual German vocational education and training system and the cooperation with industry Strong intercultural and social skills Willingness to work regularly at other vocational training institutes in Vietnam is necessary Good ability to convey specialist topics and methods and to work in a participatory way with the partners Fluency in English

Location information
