The Civil Peace Service (CPS) is a global program working on the prevention of violence and peacebuilding in crisis and conflict regions. The CPS program \"Justice and reconciliation in the aftermath of the Khmer Rouge Tribunal\" located in Cambodia, aims to strengthen healthy forms of remembering the Khmer Rouge past, and to foster national reconciliation in the context of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). Against the backdrop of a unique international criminal justice process, the CPS program in Cambodia addresses the legacy of the ECCC - a hybrid court in a residual phase after the closure of its judicial functions in 2022.
Your tasks
Strengthen the CPS Cambodia network and the cooperation among its members through the development and initiation of regular exchanges and integration of expertise to meet partner needs Support the development and exchange of best practices, the organization, management, and dissemination of knowledge as well as the coordination and development of activities and initiatives within the CPS network Design and support needs- and interest-based learning and exchange structures in close cooperation with all CPS Cambodia partner organizations Coordinate and facilitate the links between the program and partner level in knowledge management initiatives, reflecting on best practices and lessons learned in close cooperation with the CPS Advisor for Knowledge Management Advisory support in matters of project cycle management, capacity development and public relations/ networkingYour profile
Masterโs degree in Peace and Conflict Studies, Media and Communication, International Relations, Social Sciences, Education, or any other relevant field Experience in the development/initiation and working with (digital) network structures and Communities of Practice Experience and skills about (digital) learning, knowledge transfer and management Experience in the field of Transitional Justice or similar processes; with a focus on gender, youth initiatives, outreach and victim centered processes are an asset Several years of practical peace work in post-conflict/conflict setting, in Southeast Asia as well as experience in international project management are advantageous High level of communication and facilitation skills, experience in multi-actor partnerships Regional knowledge and high intercultural competence, respect, empathy, and experience in working in a resource limited/dormant environment Creativity, and the ability to adapt to a very dynamic working environment with the ability in self-organization, structured and strategic thinkingLocation information
