NRC Iraq is looking for an Area Programme Managerย to join theย Nineveh Area Office. The role holder will be responsible forย line management of senior programming staff in Ninewa Area Office, effectively overseeing implementation, and taking lead on other programme development initiatives as delegated by the Area Manager in the areas of operation. They will have core responsibility for implementing integrated programmes, is a member of the Ninewa Area Management Team, represents NRC externally, and deputizes the Area Manager as needed. The role also liaises with the Country Office programme team and has a technical line to the Head of Programmes

Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Minimum of 5yearsโ work experience in Project Management Fluency in English, both written and verbalย Experience from a senior project implementation position in a humanitarian/ recovery contextย Experience with integrated programming and/or coordinating multiple sectors/CCsย Experience in facilitating the capacity building efforts of diverse colleagues, including national staffย Expertise on localization, working with partners, and community engagementย Experience with safe programming, including gender and protection mainstreamingย Thorough knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel and the online Microsoft suiteย Experience with livelihoods, education, and/or legal assistance, protection programming is advantageousยย What We Offer
