Generic responsibilities:
Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures. Provide regular progress reports to WASH coordinator. Ensure that projects target beneficiaries are most in need of protection. Share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in activities of WASH project. Ensure capacity building of technical assistants and transfer key skills. Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy. Ensure compliance with WASH strategy, tools, handbooks, guidelines and standards. Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.Specific responsibilities:
Have full understanding of all programsโ goals, objectives, implementation plan and expected result / output. Ensure all assessments, implementations and monitoring has been done in proper way. Manage all the phases of the WASH activities. Ensure appropriateness of all WASH technical document. Ensure technical aspects and high quality of projects. Leading WASH team in Kunduz province. Liaise and collaborate with relevant local authorities and other key stakeholders. Participate in meetings and trainings when scheduled. Supervise the delivery, distributions, and implementation of (WASH) interventions in field. Provision of weekly and monthly plan for WASH team. Work closely with all WASH projects stockholders. Coordinate closely his or her activities with WASH Coordinatorย Assist her/his direct supervisor/Coordinator on planning, organizing, facilitating and monitoring of projects.ย Be willing to travel in districts and other provinces. Ensure all integrated projects has been properly coordinated and implemented with CCs.ย Any others tasks assigned by supervisors/ WASH Coordinator.Otherย Responsibilities:
Ensure the inclusion of cash-based interventions and marked based programmes in country and area-based strategies and their implementation across and within NRCโs core competencies. Provide an enabling environment for the implementation of cash-based interventions, including multi-purpose cash assistance, emergency cash responses.Generic professional competencies:ย
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:ย
Bachelorโs degree in civil engineering or prior experience with NRC in WASH section.ย At least 3 years of previous work experience with a satisfactory performance in the same or similar functional area preferably with UN, INGOs or Government Joint initiated projects. Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and problems solving skill. Computer literacy (Word, Excel and Power Point).ย Fluency in English and local language Dari/PashtoBehavioural competencies:
