USAID Afghanistan Women's Economic Development (WED)
FHI 360 is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for Technical Advisors and Specialists, and Operational Specialists in advance of an upcoming USAID/Afghanistan project called Women’s Economic Development (WED). The WED project will focus on women’s economic empowerment and creating an enabling environment for women to enter the formal economy in Afghanistan. FHI 360 is seeking specialists in the following areas:
- Women’s economic empowerment
- Workforce development
- Access to finance
- Women’s outreach and advocacy
- Gender equality and social inclusion
- SME development
- Business enabling environment
- Private sector engagement
- Market linkages
- Digital Services
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Grants and contract management
- Finance and operations
- Logistics and security
Afghan nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
- At least five years of professional experience in your specific field
- Experience with a donor-funded project is required, preferably USAID
- Academic degree in a related field, advanced degree preferred
