Job Summary:
Performs research activities and functions with senior research staff to develop, implement, lead, and conduct research studies. Makes detailed evaluations, observations, analyzes data and interprets results using advanced qualitative methods and statistics. Investigates, creates and develops new methods and technologies for project advancement.
Accountabilities:
Prepares research concepts and proposals following established policies and procedures.
Conducts qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting for internal and external clients.
Assists with the design and implementation of qualitative research studies, including the sampling, recruitment, and appropriate analysis.
Facilitates in-person and virtual individual interviews, focus group discussions, and observations.
Manages raw qualitative data, including recordings, transcriptions, and document review.
Supports Institutional Review Board research ethics reviews and ensures compliance with government regulations when writing and reviewing protocols, analysis plans, reports, and manuscripts.
Develops training materials and conducts training for study implementation based on company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Provides input with questionnaire development, analysis, study design, and material management.
Plans, organizes, and manages resources/processes for successful completion of study goals.
Develops and implements protocols and informed consents for research studies. Provides guidance on any protocol-related issues.
Develops, reviews, and maintains key study documents to ensure adequate resource and reference documentation.
Serves as the liaison with internal and external partners to ensure effective collaboration efforts.
Oversees planning of meetings, site visits, and drafting necessary documents.
Education:**
Masterโs Degree or its International Equivalent โข Knowledge/Information Services, Education, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Human Development or Related Field.
Experience:**
Typically requires 5-8 years of research or evaluation experience with study implementation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, analytical software, transcription software, qualitative software packages (Nvivo, Qualtrics, ATLAS.ti, Dedoose, Otter, Survey Monkey, etc.), and other technology required.
Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive fashion with clients and staff.
Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Related prior work experience required.

The expected hiring salary range for this role is listed below. FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.
Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 12% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
Hiring Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000
