About the Opportunity

Relief International is seeking a Regional Program Development Manager (RPDM) to lead program development efforts across the Middle East. This role focuses on strategy setting, proposal development, and coordinating with country offices to secure funding, while ensuring compliance with donor requirements. The RPDM will work closely with the Regional Program Director, country teams, and global support offices to drive successful program outcomes and ensure quality and efficient proposal processes

Your Responsibilities

This role includes the following responsibilities.

Lead program design workshops and coordinate proposal development across regional offices.Manage the preparation of funding proposals, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and internal processes.Work closely with country teams to monitor funding opportunities and ensure proposals are aligned with RI鈥檚 strategic goals. Mentor and build capacity of program development teams in country offices.Support risk management and ensure adherence to partnership procedures and due diligence requirements.

About You

You will bring the following experience and skills.

  • A degree in International Development, Humanitarian Studies, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program design and proposal development, including managing complex, multi-donor proposals.
  • Strong understanding of donor regulations, compliance requirements, and financial management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaborative environments.
  • Expertise in building the capacity of teams and mentoring staff in proposal development processes.
  • Knowledge of key sectors such as Health, Nutrition, WASH, Education, or Economic Opportunity.
  • Experience working with Middle Eastern countries and donors such as USAID, ECHO, or UN agencies.
