FHI 360 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Director for the anticipated USAID Funded Integrated Health Systems Strengthening Activity (IHSS). The IHSS Activity will have an award ceiling between $300m and $500m with a global scope of work, potentially ranging up to 30 countries concurrently. The IHSS Activity will support the achievement of sustainable, equitable and resilient health systems through locally-led, evidence-driven, and context-specific approaches to HSS, thereby contributing to advancing primary health care, accelerating progress toward UHC, and improving health outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Project Director will lead the project and be responsible for achieving the projectโ€™s vision and strategy, directing the project technical team, and managing critical relationships with USAID, national and international partners, and other key stakeholders. They will have overall programmatic and fiscal responsibility for the project, including achieving project results, effectively communicating accomplishments, and ensuring compliance with all US government and the organizationโ€™s regulations.
