The Opportunity
- Lead high-quality, results-oriented Project Planning, Implementation, and Reporting in compliance with Plan, donor requirements, government policies, and partnership agreements;
- Ensure proper management of financial resources and assets in line with Plan International policies, and institutional and corporate donor requirements, including working with the finance team to monitor and manage foreign exchange fluctuations and ensure adherence to donor compliance requirements;
- Prepare high-quality programmatic and financial reports for the donor, government, and the country office as required;
- Leading and managing project staff effectively to ensure high levels of motivation, commitment, capacity and teamwork;
- Foster strong coordination/collaboration with partners through regular coordination meetings/program reviews, joint field visits, and action planning;
- Ensure early and rigorous implementation of quality and accountability mechanisms, and support and coordinate the monitoring and reporting;
- Establish links and good relationships with relevant government, NGOs, multilateral and bilateral organizations, academic and research institutions, and the media in the area of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights to draw information and knowledge for program efficiency and effectiveness.
About You
- Mastersโ Degree in relevant field โ Project Management, Medicine, and or maternal health/midwifery, and or public health, and or social sciences and or another related field.
- Relevant professional experience in the area of sexual and reproductive health programme;
- Advanced understanding of the development needs and their vulnerability of our Primary Impact Groups from birth to adulthood, the root causes of the issues affecting them, and the key actors most relevant to their interests and therefore to our work;
- Experience in analysing and integrating diverse and complex quantitative and qualitative data from a wide range of sources;
- Strong track record of programme management, technical leadership, and proven ability to produce demonstrable results;
- Familiarity and experience in health/reproductive health programming in humanitarian setting and resilience an advantage;
- Fluency in Portuguese and Advanced level of English language is essential;
- Providing clear direction and support to team members in the event of a crisis.
