FHI 360 staff working in the United States are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, regardless of the type of project or client they serve, or of their employment status (full/part-time, remote, telework, or in-office), unless an accommodation applies. FHI 360 complies with federal, state, and local laws with regard to accommodations related to this policy. Full vaccination is currently defined as two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnsonโ€™s Janssen vaccine. Booster doses are not required at this time.

The Global Connections (GC) department is a leader in designing innovative international exchange and scholarship programs that promote leadership, professional development, civic engagement, academic opportunities and global collaboration. GC projects help emerging leaders from around the world develop their skills, make valuable global contacts and gain a deeper understanding of each otherโ€™s societies and cultures. GC programs are enriched by staff expertise in adult and youth learning approaches, a wide range of disciplines and sectors, and our extensive experience in every aspect of project design, implementation and evaluation.

The Program Officer will be a member of the Global Connections operations team, reporting to the Department Director. They will work with GC senior staff to support business planning and proposal development, including research and tracking of opportunities; implement communications mechanisms that support strategic positioning; represent the department at key internal and external events, as appropriate; and support departmental strategic planning activities.
