Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator, the Procurement Team Leader will manage the accountable, efficient and timely procurement of goods, works, and services for the NRC Jordan Programme in compliance with NRC's internal policies and donor regulations.

Collaborate with the procurement team, analyze data, and provide insights to enhance efficiency and compliance.Support in conducting regular audits and generating monthly reports for procurement activities.Conduct regular assessments and collaborate with relevant teams to establish standardized processes and systems for efficient, secure, and accurate filing of supporting documents.Conduct analytical studies to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process, focusing on both framework agreements and one-off contracts. Assess cost-benefit, compliance, supplier quality, and risk to inform decision-making and improve procurement practices.Ensure local procurement conducted is in compliance with NRC and donor procurement policies and procedures, conducting regular spot checks of procurement files to ensure said compliance.Ensure paper and electrical records are maintained in a systematic manner in line with NRCโs standard procurement procedures, providing a clear auditable trail.Source appropriate suppliers in the local and/or international market for procurement of goods and/or services based on specifications provided by programme or support staff. And conduct regular market surveys and supplier pre-qualification for commonly purchased goods and services, maintaining an up-to-date supplier database with key supplier information.Establish and maintain good and professional working relationships with suppliers, service providers, and contractors whilst strictly adhering to NRCโs anti-corruption guidelines and NRCโs code of conduct.Contribute and provide information to assist in the development of procurement-related SOPs, systems, procedures, and templates both at the Country Office and the Area Office levels.Provide guidance and support to NRC Jordan staff in all procurement processes, including training on policies and procedures, in coordination with the Procurement Coordinator.Manage high-value procurement activities for goods and services, develop Framework Agreements, and oversee contract management, including supplier performance evaluation and expenditure monitoring.With the support of the Procurement Coordinator, guide NRC Jordan Programmes in planning their project procurement needs and developing the Project Procurement Plans to be regularly reviewed together.Managing and supporting procurement officer/s in all procurement-related tasks and reconciling every action with the Finance team.Critical interfaces
