About this position
We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and reliable Prevention Consultant to join the Office of Ethics. As Prevention Consultant, you will carry out the IDB Group Declaration of Interests (DoI) exercises that requires all IDB Group employees to complete a detailed annual reporting of their financial and outside interests or certify compliance with the Codes of Ethics.
You will work in the Prevention area, which is part of the Office of Ethics (ETH) department. ETH is responsible for providing impartial assistance to IDB Group employees and Management in reviewing and resolving matters regarding ethics and conduct in the workplace to contribute to good governance and helps to preserve and promote institutional integrity.
What youโll do:
Support the administration of the DoI Program, which requires that all IDB Group employees complete a detailed annual reporting of their financial and outside interests or certify compliance with the Codes of Ethics. Conduct reviews of all declarations received for potential conflicts of interest. If conflicts are identified, support the team leader in managing, mitigating, or addressing such conflicts. Help continuously improve ethics advisory services and DoI Exercise by identifying trends, opportunities, and efficiencies. Assist ETH advisory services by carrying out accurate and timely analysis, interpretation, and application of the Codes of Ethics and drafting replies to employee consultations and matters.Deliverables and Payments Timeline:

What you'll need
Education: Bachelorโs degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Political Sciences, Ethics, Business or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role. Experience: At least/ Between 2 and 5 years of progressive experience in law, business, ethics, or relevant field. Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.Key skills:
