The MEL Associate plays a crucial role in driving the monitoring, evaluation, and learning framework for the Ma3an Project. This individual will collaborate with project teams to collect, analyze, and report high-quality data. S/he will contribute to learning initiatives, ensuring that the project effectively adapts based on insights gathered.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Management:
- Develop and implement data collection tools and strategies (surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.).
- Oversee data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update project databases.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to track project progress, performance, and impact.
- Identify trends and patterns within the data, generating actionable insights.
- Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, communicating results clearly and concisely.
- Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and other presentation materials.
- Collaboration:
- Build strong working relationships with project teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and training on MEL methods and tools as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, statistics, international development, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., PowerBI, Stata, Excel).
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- English language fluency is strongly preferred.
