What you will do:

  1. Role and responsibilities:

    The KfW Programme Manager is responsible for overall operational and technical leadership of NRCโ€™s KfW Development Bank-funded project in Sudan. The project will run from January 2025 to December 2027 to deliver housing solutions, legal services  and improved community infrastructure for displacement affected-urban communities and households in Gedaref and River Nile. Infrastructure development represents a core component of the project, with a particular focus on resilience and energy efficiency. 

    The overall objective of this project is to promote the resilience of displacement affected-urban communities and households in Sudan through an integrated approach to resilient infrastructure, adequate and dignified housing and support to exercise their rights at individual, household and community level. Key objectives for this role include:

    Generic responsibilities:

    1.Lead on project development and implementation in line with NRCโ€™s global strategic objectives and priorities. 

    2. Work collaboratively with all relevant colleagues at area, country and regional level to set and carry out a clear strategic direction for the project.

    3. Lead on engagement and liaison with the donor, including regular review meetings, involving other staff as relevant.
