About this position:

IDB INVEST is implementing a software solution to support and automate the management of the operational life cycle in the Maestro system. This project uses information technology to facilitate the definition of a process framework to measure and monitor day-to-day business processes for continuous improvement and efficiency. IDBI operational systems have been developed using a BPM tool that includes process modeling, process simulation, process repositories, workflow, integration, reporting, and other technologies.

We are seeking an experienced business analyst to help us improve our systems and processes.

What you’ll do:

The proposed consultancy supports the current and new functionality of a technology solution that supports IDB INVEST’s operational processes. The incumbent will support the project team with the analysis, review of business processes, QA / Testing management, and business support.

· Act as liaison between IT and across business units to document and translate business requirements and needs.

· Stablish partnerships with other stakeholders across the institution.

· Evaluate real-time data to identify systems processes.

· Assist the technical teams in the identification and solution of system and data issues to ensure appropriate data quality.

· Participate in communication within the implementation team and the development of cases for quality assurance and user acceptance tests.

· Provide support in the identification of issues, decision points, and risks arising from the execution of the project.

· Produce business, functional, technical and system design documentation.

· Create QA plans to review and ensure the correct implementation of the functionality.

· Support the QA team with functional requirements validation and manage the UAT process.

· Execute systems analysis to maximize troubleshooting problems.

What you’ll need:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Sciences or related field, Master’s degree is a plus.

· Experience: At least 2 years of experience in business process analysis and design.

· Languages: Fluent in English or Spanish.

· Areas of Expertise: Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques.
