The GIS Division in the Data & Analytics Department of FHI 360 is seeking applicants for a GIS Analyst position as we expand our group. This person should have a desire to use their geospatial and quantitative skills to support human development projects in health, education, and civil society. The job will require working with senior staff on multiple projects that range from HIV and TB programs, laboratory network strengthening, maternal and child health access, neglected tropical disease mapping, and education teams. The work will involve supporting all stages of research projects and providing technical assistance to country and global programs; and will require this person to create data entry forms, manage databases, create interactive maps in ArcGIS Online, conduct geospatial modelling and analyses in ArcPro, and help with report writing.

Job Summary:

Performs research development with senior research staff to develop, implement, manage, and conduct research studies and support program teams. Makes detailed evaluations, observations, analyzes data and interprets results using geospatial tools, quantitative methods, and statistics. Investigates, creates, and develops new methods and technologies for project advancement. Works with senior research staff and program teams to develop and implement geospatial approaches for non-clinical research studies. Provides input on the best ways to obtain accurate information from study participants and programmatic data in ways that address research and program objectives and permit data-based conclusions. Works with diverse teams on multiple projects at once.
