We are currently seeking qualified Gender Advisor candidates to be proposed on an anticipated USAID/Kyrgyz Republic New Civil Society Activity that would work to strengthen civil society and support civic participation in the Kyrgyz Republic. Availability of position is contingent upon award to FHI 360 and selection of final applicant is subject to USAID approval.

Job Summary:

The Gender Advisor will help ensure that the project effectively integrates key gender and social inclusion-related considerations into project interventions, understands how the proposed project interventions will affect a spectrum of social groups (i.e., women, men, people with disabilities, marginalized, etc.), and minimizes the negative impacts of said interventions. The Gender Advisor will also support the design and implementation of project activities that address the unique challenges that women, youth, and vulnerable groups face in their communities. They will work closely with the Chief of Party and Program Coordinator, supporting them and project staff with recommendations, contribute to the overall adaptive programming approach, and play a key role in project work planning, learning, and reporting.
