Salary: VUV 2,608,948 per annum

Where you come in:

\"In this full-time contract position located in Santo, Vanuatu, you will apply your technical expertise, project management experience, and strong relationship-building skills to take the lead in overseeing Project Implementation across the Sanma and Penama Provinces. You will also be responsible for guiding, supporting, and mentoring a dedicated team. Your role will be instrumental in advancing the well-being of children and vulnerable communities in Vanuatu, with responsibilities spanning, office operation, project management, budget oversight, team leadership, and the provision of technical guidance.\"

You will make an impact by:

· Effective Field Operation Management - ensure smooth and efficient field operations, optimizing resources, and implementing strategies that align with Save The Children's mission and goals.

· Strategic Planning and Implementation - contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives

· Community Engagement and Partnerships: Building strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partners is crucial.

· Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to policies, guidelines, and standards is essential for maintaining program quality and compliance.

· Team Leadership and Development: Play a key role in leading and developing a high-performing team.

· Monitoring and Evaluation: Contribute to the design and execution of effective monitoring and evaluation systems, enabling data-driven decision-making and program refinement.

· Adaptability and Innovation: Bringing proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying innovative solutions and adapting strategies to address evolving challenges.

Does this sound like you?

You have project and operation management and coordination skills, strong understanding of program implementation, excited to learn, adhere to policies & guidelines and able to work in a flexible and high achieving team.

This role requires:

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, responsive to external requests and be a strong team player. skills to recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Strong, Operation Management, project management and budget management skills Passion for empowering children and ensuring their meaningful participation in programmatic activities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Problem Solving, decision making, analyse situations and make informed decisions Understanding of Local Context, including cultural, social, and economic factors, is essential.
