FHI 360 is currently recruiting for the position of Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) based in Guatemala to support an anticipated USAID-funded project aimed at addressing the challenge of fragility by improving the effectiveness and coordination of the justice system in Guatemala. The project will fortify oversight bodies and institutions responsible for combating corruption, fostering democratic governance, and upholding the rule of law. This project will take place for approximately 21 months, between September 2023 to June 2025, with an estimated budget ceiling between $20-25 million USD.

Employment is contingent upon successful award of the project to FHI 360, as well as USAID approval of the finalist.

Job Summary:

The DFA will be responsible for administrative and financial leadership of the program to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency of project set-up, daily operations, and close-out. S/he will provide management direction to ensure effective operations, seeking compliance with government regulations, satisfaction among internal clients, and constant improvement of operations. The DFA will participate in long-term organizational planning โ€“ particularly supporting efforts to minimize fixed costs. S/he will keep abreast of many aspects of the organizationโ€™s initiatives to make informed decisions and adjust priorities as needed. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing financial plans and policies, accounting practices and procedures, prime and subaward monitoring, and ensuring that the projectโ€™s financial and strategic goals are attained.
