The Position

Mercy Corpsโ€™ Development team in Europe drives and supports strategies for restricted, unrestricted and flexible funds and brand profile raising in the UK and mainland Europe. The team is a crucial and integrated component of the organisationโ€™s global resource development efforts. The team concentrates on four primary revenue streams - Corporate Partnerships, Foundation Partnerships, High Impact Philanthropy and Direct Marketing.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator will provide best in class administrative support to ensure effective implementation of the department's strategic and operational plans, working closely with the Director of Development and Management team to optimise workstreams, enhance communications, track team performance and delivery. Responsibilities include managing the cross-team work plan, supporting the tracking of team KPIs, supporting the development of briefs and presentations for executive meetings, scheduling meetings and workshops, managing department onboarding, concise note taking, providing editing, formatting and proof-reading of fundraising materials/content, updating the Raisers Edge system (CRM), coordinating travel, expense reports, and supporting research and due diligence briefs for the team as required.

This position requires outstanding administrative and project management skills - the ability to multitask, manage deadlines and great communication and collaboration skills. We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
