We are currently seeking qualified Deputy Chief of Party candidates to be proposed on the anticipated USAID/Guatemala Combating Corruption in Guatemala Task Order issued under the Programming for Prevention and Peacebuilding (P4P2) IDIQ. The projectโ€™s anticipated primary focus is on improving the effectiveness and coordination of the justice system in Guatemala, a critical component in mitigating fragility. Anticipated project activities will: fortify oversight bodies and institutions responsible for combating corruption ,fostering democratic governance, and upholding the rule of law; promote access to justice for traditionally marginalized populations and enhance citizen security and inclusive justice; drive substantive governance reforms that enhance legitimacy and minimize corruption; mitigate negative impacts of disinformation and propaganda by strengthening the capacity of institutions to monitor, counter, and lessen these influences; and issue subgrants to civil society organizations (CSOs) committed to reducing corruption and impunity. This project will take place for approximately 21 months, between September 2023 to June 2025, with an estimated budget ceiling between $20-25 million USD.

Employment is contingent upon successful award of the project to FHI 360, as well as USAID approval of the finalist.

Job Summary:

The Deputy Chief of Party (COP) will assist the COP with the development and implementation of the projectโ€™s vision, strategy, ensuring efficient operations and timely progress against schedules, achievement and quality of deliverables, and quality of results. S/he will supervise and coordinate the program operations and activity implementation team and will serve as the secondary institutional liaison with USAID. This position will report to the Chief of Party. It is expected that the DCOP will be located in Guatemala City, Guatemala with anticipated project-funded travel throughout the country. The position will report to the Chief of Party.
