Background (Project Background)

Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the Presidentโ€™s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with a period of performance from April 15, 2019 to December 30, 2027. EpiC is designed to break through persistent barriers to the 95-95-95 goals and promote self-reliant management of national HIV programs. In response to mission and country needs, EpiC rapidly delivers efficient, affordable, results-based technical assistance (TA) and direct service delivery (DSD) tailored to context and epidemiology that are effective in surging, scaling, and sustaining HIV services and systems for long-term epidemic control.

Job Summary

A Community Engagement Coordinator is needed to support EpiC work in community strengthening, specifically among adolescents, youth, young people and young key populations (young men who have sex with men and young trans women). The CE Coordinator will play a key role in engaging these communities and ensuring their representation and participation in the EpiC HIV program.
