In support of that mission, the Foundations team (CFT) manages Mercy Corpsโ€™ relationships with major US foundations by co-creating strategically restricted grants and leading Big Bet proposal processes. We set bold agency-wide strategies, manage relationships with foundation partners, and support relationships initiated by our RD and program colleagues around the world.

The Position

The Campaign Program Manager will drive implementation of campaign elements, ensure team remains on track, report on progress against goals, ensure coordination between teams and departments, and manage distribution of flexible funds through proposed processes, in partnership with a fund manager. The Campaign Program Manager will work closely with campaign leadership, fundraising teams, management and support staff (including finance, administration and program) to ensure day-to-day activities are implemented according to schedule, budget, and required quality. The Campaign Program Manager will develop and provide regular team-wide updates and support campaign leadership and advisory committees with coordination and necessary reports. The Campaign Program Manager will assist the Senior Director, Foundation Partnerships and campaign leadership with a strategic plan for the implementation of the campaign, including identifying target areas/projects, methods of operation for effective programming and maximum results.

Essential Responsibilities

WORKPLAN MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and manage implementation workplan and calendar which will be inclusive of various workstreams, including leadership/committee engagement, pipeline management, reporting, materials development, executive outreach, internal communications, and external communications.
  • Track operations related to the campaign according to the work plan and implementation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot, as needed, to prevent disruptions in activities.

    COORDINATION

    • Manage and support weekly or bi-weekly campaign team meetings, including leadership and advisory committee and other structures as necessary.

      TRACKING AND REPORTING COODRINDATION

      • Share information with the climate campaign leadership to ensure overall project targets and donor obligations are being achieved. Troubleshoot on reporting and implementation needs. Advise supervisor on suggested improvements and necessities, as required.
      • Work with campaign leadership and the Program Quality (PAQ) team to devise, track, and report on impact metrics.
      • Coordinate with CFT grant support and development operations teams to ensure that all research, gifts, pledges, visit reports, notes are properly logged in the pipeline management system and in Raiserโ€™s Edge.
      • Draft campaign progress reports and develop and provide regular team-wide updates.
      • Develop and support internal processes for pooled fund allocations, monitoring and tracking in coordination with the Programs team, campaign leadership, and the Climate Campaign Fund Manager.
