About the role
The Chief Information Officer reports to the Chief Operating Officer and plays a critical role in ensuring Save the Children maximises its use of technology and data in pursuing its mission. The organisation has an ambitious plan and is seeking a technology leader who will strategically partner with the Executive and lead the technology team through significant change. The role has accountability for the end-to-end leadership of the technology function, including strategy, architecture, core platforms, applications and infrastructure, security and risk. The CIO will work across the group, including with programming teams to ensure the greatest possible impact for the organisation and its mission for children.
About you
As the most senior technology leader in your organisation, you pride yourself on leading from the front and taking a solutions-oriented partnership approach, underpinned by commercial nous and the emotional intelligence to foster strategic technology partnerships. You have a history of embedding modern ways of working and taking a cross functional approach to problems and solutions. Your humility and highly credible technical skills contribute to your outstanding operational leadership as well as the capacity to drive the technology strategy.
