Position Overview:
As an Associate in the Communications Department, you will play a crucial role in managing projects across: Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia. You will work collaboratively with internal teams across various countries and regions, oversee the delivery of challenging projects, and engage with external audiences through various channels. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in traditional and digital media/communications and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate communications initiatives using various channels, including social media, corporate website, video, audio, news media, and internal communication outlets.
- Implement the departmentโs strategic plan within the assigned regions, demonstrating creativity and initiative.
- Develop compelling content that highlights and promotes EBRD's work externally and internally.
- Represent the Bank on relevant issues, internally and externally, to maintain a positive image and consistent voice on Bank activities.
- Assist in preparing strategies and responses to negative reports to safeguard the Bankโs reputation.
- Deputize for senior managers when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelorโs Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in relevant areas of digital communications/journalism/media relations/internal communications/donor visibility/design/writing and editing/research or other communication skills.
- Good understanding of the Bankโs regions, including political and socio-economic context.
- Highly literate, with excellent writing skills in English language.
- Fluency in Serbian or in other languages spoken in countries this role covers is a plus.
- Ability to generate compelling, articulate content.
- Understanding and ability to use a wide range of communications channels, including web and social media as well as traditional media platforms.
- Knowledge of audience metrics, content management systems, and basic video production skills.
- Ability to operate in a complex, multinational, multicultural work environment with changing priorities.
- Results-oriented with good time management and the ability to work independently.
