Project Background

USAID End Tuberculosis (TB) Tajikistan Activity is a five-year project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). USAID End Tuberculosis (TB) Tajikistan Activity aims to reduce the burden of TB in the Republic of Tajikistan. The project activity results are focuses on improving case detection and notification for all forms of TB, increasing the number of patients cured of all forms of TB, strengthening TB prevention by expanded preventive treatment and improved infection prevention and control (IPC) interventions, and strengthening TB system resilience/reliance in public health emergency.

Position Summary

Under the supervision Senior Technical Advisor on TB Care Cascade, the Training Supervision Manager will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive capacity-building plan for the project aligned with national policies, industry standards, and donor requirements. S/He will provide technical direction and training for staff and partners and oversee the operational aspects of the capacity building approach, including capacity-building indicators, monitoring plans, and any recommended changes to the work plan and/or budget based on data collected and lessons-learned from the field. S/He will also prepare capacity building sections of donor reports and learning documents; and provide coordination and capacity-building technical support for government and community organizations based on the latest evidence and best practices.
