ContextWhile Liberia is an English-speaking country, it has many French-speaking staff from neighbouring countries and engages extensively with French-speaking West Africa. Many non-French speakers struggle to express themselves in French, which can hinder their professional development. The goal of the French lessons is to help UN staff and UNVs to learn French to enhance collaboration and community within Liberia CO and across West Africa. 1. Status of Online Volunteers: Online Volunteers are NOT considered as UN Volunteers, staff or personnel of UNV and the Host Entities as the collaboration is non-contractual and no entitlement/allowance provided. 2. Online Volunteers are subject to UVP Terms of Use, NOT the UNV Unified Conditions of Service. 3. Upon successful completion of the assignment, the Online Volunteer will be awarded with Certificate of Completion issued by UNV.
