The volunteers will contribute toward strengthen DRFโs institutional capacity by helping identify new funding opportunities and improving the quality and competitiveness of grant submissions. Task DescriptionThe online volunteers will support the Development and Relief Foundation (DRF) in drafting its grant-writing initiative and expanding its funding pipeline. Under the guidance of DRF leadership, the volunteers will assist with researching, identifying, and documenting grant opportunities that align with DRFโs mission and programs. Specific tasks include: A: 1. Researching grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, government agencies, multilateral institutions, and other funding entities relevant to humanitarian, education, health, poverty alleviation, and community-development work. 2. Compiling a structured database or spreadsheet of potential donors, including eligibility criteria, deadlines, focus areas, and application requirements. B 1. Reviewing donor guidelines and summarizing key compliance requirements for DRF. 2. Assisting in drafting, editing, or refining grant concept notes, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and sections of grant proposals. Deliverables: โข One consolidated spreadsheet may contain 25โ30 potential grant opportunities. โข Written summaries of donor guidelines and requirements for each identified opportunity. โข Participating in periodic virtual check-ins (email or video calls) with DRF team. โข Coordinating virtually with DRFโs team. โข All work will be conducted remotely. Communication will primarily take place via email and scheduled virtual meetings.
