Authoring the overall technical narrative. This will include gathering information; writing and/or editing narrative sections such as executive summary, technical approach, project strategy, exit plans, and other sections as needed (see more detail on editing below); and, integrating different sections of the technical narrative and annexes developed by other authors. Substantive editing. This may include reorganizing material, adding or deleting information, revising major sections of text, and asking authors to address questions and concerns, all in line with donor requirements. Copy editing. This may include revising the text to make it clear, concise, correct, and consistent. Communicating clearly donor requirements on page count, format and content in BHAโ€™s application guidelines, and then ensuring the application meets those requirements. Preparing the templates for new annexes, if applicable, and then writing and/or editing annexes needed for the funded modification. Proposing (as needed) and/or attending technical meetings, check-ins, and other meetings; liaising with technical experts and others to ensure the accuracy of content. Following up with team members and management for feedback and revisions, revising text based on feedback and ensuring that the funded modification stays on schedule. Ensuring version control and strong tracking of document progress throughout. Assembling the final text, graphics, and supporting documents into a well-ordered package.

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL invites applications for the provision of services as described above. Interested candidates must submit a Cover Letter outlining their financial offer (daily rate with clarifications on other cost covering expectations plus a proposed overall cost), proposal to meet the ToR, scheduling and CV providing information on their capacity and experience showing that they are qualified for the services, including:

Track record of skill, expertise and experience writing successful donor-funded proposals for large-scale, complex humanitarian interventions, preferably for USAID. Experience with the new BHA templates is desirable but not required Knowledge of USAID Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, writing and editing skills appropriate for proposal submission Demonstrated skill in using terminology and concepts for WASH, Shelter, Health/Nutrition, Protection, ERMS, MPCA programs Working knowledge of the Syrian context is a plus Exceptional ability to synthesize large amounts of information and data to create engaging and compelling text while maintaining technical accuracy and adhering to strict page limitations Ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and negotiate timelines Technical knowledge in one or more of the Consortium sectors (Shelter, WASH, health, nutrition economic recovery and market systems and multi-purpose cash assistance) is preferred, but not required Fluency in English required
