Specific responsibilitiesย
Lead technical assessments of housing rehabilitation and upgrades, totally destroyed buildings, schools, etcโฆย in line with NRCโs project criteria, in order to support assessments and any other shelter / WASH intervention Work with the Technical Shelter Team and Shelter WASH Manager on the implementation of projects including property selection, meeting with refugee and host communities, assessments, monitoring, distribution, etc. Produce accurate drawings, reports, measurements (BoQs), and/or photographs as evidence of a technical assessment. Support, guide, and lead the shelter team. Act responsibly and communicates respectfully with beneficiaries to give a clear and accurate picture of the past, current and future situation. Ensure the appropriate documentation is in order for beneficiary contracts and subsequent payments. Plan the daily and weekly activities of SFAs in relation to: Rapid technical assessments and all technical annexes BoQs production, revision, and approval duplicationย Supervision of work Follow-up of troublesome cases Ensuring closure of work by the anticipated date Response to and follow up on referred cases Management of assigned caseloads, including keeping up-to-date records of the number of housing units, shelters, and landlords contractedCritical interfaces
