Job Summary

The Security Officer (Headquarters Operations) reports to the Section Chief of Headquarters Security and plays a critical role in managing various components of the Headquarters (HQ) Security program to mitigate safety and security risks to IMF personnel and property at HQ. This multifaceted position encompasses policy and procedure development and execution, operational oversight, threat analysis and risk assessment, technology management, budget coordination, vendor and contract administration, and emergency response planning.

The position is accountable for managing the following campus security operations: daily operational issues related to the guard force contract; oversight of the Fundโ€™s Global Security Operations Center; establishing and regularly updating the headquarters security risk framework and proposing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures; continuous development and testing of emergency response protocols and communication tools; managing technology and electronic physical security systems and on-site maintenance technician; assisting with the supervision of the executive protection program; overseeing the operational security planning for Annual and Spring Meetings; maintaining direct daily oversight of the Fire and Life Safety program at headquarters; conducting and overseeing investigations that fall outside the scope of the Ethics Office; and assisting with the management of the sectionโ€™s budget responsibilities.
