NRC is looking for a Regional Protection from Violence Adviserย to join the Asia and Latin America Regional Office. The Regional Adviser will be responsible for providing specialist advice and guidance to the Country Directors, Heads of Programme and/or Protection from Violence Specialists at Country level. The role holder will ensure optimal programme strategies, systems, policies, tools, and practices are in place, as well as contributing to funding bids, the identification of donor opportunities, and ensuring donor requirements and obligations are met. The Regional Adviser will provide advisory support, technical oversight, and capacity building.ย

What You Will Do
Policy, Strategy and Programme Development (compliance and adherence to policies, guidance, and procedures in while contributing to the development of policies, strategies, tools, and new approaches; support the development of Country/Regional strategies and implementation plans; contribute to specific areas of innovation and development; and contribute to the resource mobilisation and fundraising for regional programme development). Technical Development, Support, and Capacity Building (provide strategic advice, technical support, and capacity building support to Country Offices; ensure that Protection from Violence programming approaches contributes to integrated programming; contribute to development and delivery of induction and training provision of Country Office staff, and contribute to recruitment for technical staff). Quality Standards, Data Analysis, and Monitoring & Evaluationย (ensure best practices are identified, documented, and disseminated; work in partnership with Monitoring & Evaluationย staff, to ensure the alignment of the programmatic areas; and support and monitor country programme compliance with the Programme Policy and respective quality assurances). Networking, Representation, and Relationshipsย (identification, development, and maintenance of relationships with relevant stakeholders; 12. The Asia and Latin America Regional Office oversees the country operations in the region, and provides strategic guidance and oversight across core programme, advocacy, and support functions. The Regional Programme is responsible for the strategic development of NRC programming in the region and is focused on research, policies, guidance and procedures, evidence and learning, capacity building, programme quality, and donor relations. The department includes a Core Competencies and Thematic Unit, Regional Monitoring and Evaluation, Regional Grants and Partnership Specialist, and Senior Sub Regional Advisers.
