Role and responsibilities
Generic Responsibilitiesย
Implement NRC's protection policy in the field and promote the usage of internal protection SOPs and guidelines. Contribute to the achievement of Protection program outcomes in designated areas by promoting protection for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other conflict-affected communities, including women, children, vulnerable individuals, and persons with special protection needs. Liaise with relevant stakeholders internally and externally. Ensure that protection is an integral part of program activities. Support and advise staff on protection mainstreaming in collaboration with the Protection Coordinator. Produce data collection, reports, and analysis on Protection as required. Represent NRC alongside the Protection Coordinator in field-level protection meetings and coordination with relevant partners. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, beneficiaries involved, and identified issues. Submit field visit reports to the Protection Coordinator on a weekly basis for consolidation and analysis. Contribute to the preparation of monthly/weekly work plans in accordance with project objectives and priorities.Coordination:
Develop strong working relationships with mandated and specialized protection actors at the field level. Participate in coordination and ad-hoc coordination meetings as appropriate. Actively participate in regular program meetings and provide updates as necessary.
