The Project Co-director will lead an educational capacity building project in Puerto Rico by orchestrating strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation efforts to address educational priorities. They would liaise with local stakeholders, including educators, policymakers, and community leaders, to ensure that the project aligns with the unique needs of the territories' educational landscape. This role involves managing resources, facilitating partnerships, and overseeing progress to ensure that objectives are met efficiently and effectively. The Co-director's leadership is critical in adapting strategies to local contexts, ensuring sustainable impact, and driving continuous improvement in educational outcomes across the region.

The Project Co-director engages in project planning alongside essential partners, service agencies, technical support teams, and work in cooperation with state educational organizations (SEAs) to organize service distribution. They will plan and direct project schedules and monitor budget/spending, and monitors the project from initiation through delivery. They organize project activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. They are responsible for organizing technical assistance programs for the Comprehensive Center and its main partners, managing the provision of services within the territory, and conducting evaluations as mandated. Furthermore, the Co-director leads activities initiated by the Department, collecting information, and compiling necessary reports.

This position is contingent on donor funding.
