Job Summary:
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Payroll Accountant II in the Finance and Administration Division. IFPRI is a research institute of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) This exempt position is considered a 2-year, renewable appointment and is located at IFPRIโs Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelorโs degree plus 7 years of lead payroll experience, or masterโs degree plus 5 years of lead payroll experience Excellent oral and written English language skills Proficient knowledge and experience processing payroll and related tax filings and remittances Demonstrated proficiency using Deltek Costpoint Time & Expense, People, and Payroll modules; Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to be resourceful; high level of organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through to closure. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced work environment Demonstrated ability to work productively within a multi-cultural team environment Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work responsibly with minimal supervision Demonstrated experience handling confidential mattersPreferred Qualifications:
Physical Demand & Work environment:
Employee will sit in an upright position for a long period of time. Employee will lift between 0-10 pounds. Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing computer terminal; extensive reading.Salary Range: The expected salary range for this job requisition is between $74,000 - $90,700. In determining your salary, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
