OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMMEContribuer a la reduction de la mortalite et de la morbidite des meres, des nouveau-nes et des enfants et a la promotion de la sante et du developpement des adolescents en renforcant les capacites nationales en matiere de planification, de mise en ล“uvre, de suivi et d'evaluation des interventions visant a ameliorer l'etat de sante, en etablissant des partenariats efficaces avec les partenaires du developpement de la sante pour une approche integree des soins de sante primaires.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES1- Servir de point focal de l'OMS pour la mise-en-ล“uvre des interventions de sante de la reproduction, maternelle, neonatale, infantile, des adolescents et des personnes agees; 2- Appuyer le Ministere de la Sante Publique, les autres departements du Gouvernement, les Partenaires et ONG, dans l'elaboration, la mise-en-ล“uvre et le suivi/evaluation des politiques, strategies et plans relatifs a la sante maternelle, neo-natale, infantile et des adolescents, y compris la nutrition; 3 - Appuyer le processus de developpement, la mise-en-ล“uvre des normes, standards de qualite des services et outils contribuant a la reduction de la mortalite maternelle, neonatale, infantile et des adolescents, notamment ceux relatifs a la PCIME clinique et communautaire; 4 - Apporter un appui pour la conception et la mise-en-ล“uvre de programmes visant l'accroissement de l'acces des jeunes et adolescents aux services de prevention de la maladie et de promotion de la sante a travers les programmes de sante scolaire et universitaire, de sante de l'adolescent et autres initiatives; 5 - Renforcer la collaboration entre les agences du Systeme des nations unies, les partenaires bilateraux et multilateraux et les ONG impliques dans les programmes de sante maternelle, neo-natale, infantile et des adolescents, y compris la nutrition; 6 - Appuyer le suivi/evaluation des programmes de maternelle, neo-natale, infantile et des adolescents et la mobilisation des ressources ; 7 - Apporter un appui a la recherche operationnelle sur les divers aspects de sante de la reproduction, des enfants et des adolescents, et de nutrition, y compris la documentation et la dissemination de bonnes pratiques; 8 - Apporter un appui technique pour une meilleure integration des programmes de sante, notamment ceux relatifs a la sante maternelle et infantile, la nutrition et le VIH/SIDA, et pour le renforcement du systeme de sante en vue de la Couverture Sanitaire Universelle (CSU);9 - Executer toute les activites requises par le Representant de l'OMS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EducationEssential: Doctorat en Medecine
Desirable: Diplome post universitaire de sante publique, ou engynecologie - obstetrique ou en pediatrie.

ExperienceEssential: Avoir une experience pratique d'au moins cinq (05) ans en planification, mise-en-ล“uvre, monitorage et supervision des activites de sante maternelle et infantile au niveau national.
Desirable: Avoir une experience professionnelle de collaboration avec les organisations bilaterales ou multilaterales.

Skills1.Connaissance averee de la gestion du RMNCAH dans le contexte des objectifs de developpement durable (ODD). Capacite a mener des recherches et a analyser les resultats, a identifier les problemes, a formuler des opinions et a tirer des conclusions et des recommandations pour le renforcement des systemes de soins de sante.2.Bonne connaissance des services de sante et des regles de securite du RMNCAH3.Capacite a etablir des priorites, a organiser, a gerer et a adapter le style de gestion en fonction des besoins.4.Capacite a constituer et a motiver des equipes et a travailler sous pression

REMUNERATIONRemuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at XOF 19,150,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
