The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, resilient, and dynamic professional that will be responsible that the logistic set up is according to NRC standard and to support programme/project implementationย for Colombia, Ecuador, and Panama. ย What you will do
Ensure that country logistics structure complies with NRC Logistical Guidelines, NRC policies and donor requirements.
- Implement NRCโs logistics systems and procedures and develop in country logistics policy documentation in line with NRC Global procedure.
- Establish filing systems/archives according to NRC standards in all offices.
- Initiate and maintain necessary leases, licenses and contracts with relevant authorities and suppliers.
- Management of the logistics teamย
- Training and support of line managers and staff with logistical responsibilities.ย
- Contribute to program and project design, including budget development and preparation. Follow up and manage allocated budget lines.

What you will bring
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working as a senior Logistics Manager in a humanitarian, recovery context.
- Post โ Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Logistics Management in Latin America, particularly in Colombia, Ecuador or Panamaย is an advantage.
- Experience working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Documented results related to the positionโs responsibilities.
- Experience of data collection, analysis and report writing
- Knowledge of market analysis tools and approaches
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profileย
- Fluency in Spanish and English both written and verbalย What we offer

- Travel: up to 30%ย
