5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

At CSIS we actively seek to employ a diverse group of people who embody our organizational values. We welcome and encourage individuals of all backgrounds to apply, especially those from traditionally underrepresented groups.

The CSIS Global Food and Water Security Program (GFWSP) serves as an independent forum for analysis of food and water security in the United States and around the world. The program aims to increase the level of dialogue surrounding food and water security and to develop policy solutions and political will to address todayโ€™s challenges. The program conducts original research and writing, hosts public and private events, and regularly engages practitioners, scholars, and policymakers in Washington, D.C. and around the world on issues relevant to domestic and global food and water security. Special areas of focus include the impacts of the Russia-Ukraine war on global food security and Ukraineโ€™s agriculture sector, U.S.-China cooperation on global food security, agrobiodiversity, global nutrition, climate change, and improving the coherence of U.S. global food and water security policy.ย
