NRC Geneva requires an intern to support the NRC Geneva Institutional Partnership Team and the Director of the Policy and Advocacy Section (PAS) and NRC Geneva in the areas of partnership, relationship management, and office administration. The intern will provide analytical, administrative, and logistical support and will work closely with many members of the Geneva Representation Office and PAS to cover internal and external responsibilities; coordinate Geneva inputs to internal processes; support compliance requests; and prepare background materials and follow-up documentation for meetings, events, and other initiatives.

What you will do
The intern will work across the following areas:ย
Support to the Partnership Team (50%)
Supporting the full portfolio of NRCโs UN agency partnerships and engagement with the Swiss Government.ย Maintaining an updated database of partnership documents, including strategies, reports, concept notes, proposals, and signed agreements. Updating internal partnership fact sheets and summaries of key rules and regulations. Carrying out desk research to complete donor mapping exercises. Monitoring donor websites, particularly the UN Partner Portal, for funding opportunities. Responding to compliance and help-desk requests. Providing logistical support to the team in the organisation and coverage of internal and external events. Other tasks as necessary and according to organisational needs.ย
Support to the Director (50%)
Ensuring follow up to internal strategy and reporting processes, including coordinating and consolidating Geneva Rep Office and PAS inputs to various processes and initiatives. Preparing documents and briefing packets, supporting meeting organisation and preparation, and ensuring note taking and event and meeting attendance. Supporting internal and external relationship building, including through tracking priorities, outreach, and engagement opportunities. Assisting the preparation and coordination of NRC staff visiting Geneva (updating schedules, coordinating external/internal meetings, preparing background notes, etc.).
