NRC has an established Information, Counseling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) project for displaced Somalis in Somalia. NRC is strengthening its ICLA project to address Housing, Land, and Property (HLP) rights. The paralegal casual staff will engage with displaced Somali families at risk of or affected by HLP rights violations in and around Jubaland. This roster position will be deployed on a need basis, supporting NRCโs mission to provide information and counseling services related to access to services, documentation, and protection issues.
Role Overview:
The paralegal will be on a roster, deployed as required to support NRCโs ICLA activities. They will represent NRC professionally and act in accordance with the NRC Code of Conduct.
