Primary Function:
This position helps to maintain and improve the agency's business processes and use of financial systems and data. It provides support for improvement eff
orts which generally occur through a combination of staff training and the implementation of new or enhanced technology.
Job Responsibilities:
๏‚ท Create and maintain reports using Oracle report design software such as BI Publisher and OTBI. Identify data sources in t
he
Oracle database as needed for correct and efficient reports.
๏‚ท Identify, investigate, and resolve technical application problems.
๏‚ท Identify, recommend, and help implement improvements in business processes, systems, and data usage.
๏‚ท Perform system operations, reconciliations, data integrity validations, and financial closing procedures.
๏‚ท Provide technical support and training to users.
๏‚ท Design and perform software tests.
๏‚ท Maintain configuration data for business operations.
๏‚ท Help develop and maintain training plans and material
s.
๏‚ท Perform a variety of tasks in project work. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Estimate related time and cost of assigned tasks;

  • Contribute to change control documentation, procedures, and training materials;

  • Identify and assess risks;i>

  • Conduct basic analysis, clean, extract and transfer data;

  • Assist with installation and test software and software updates;

  • Track and report time, cost, and status;

  • Work with team members and stakeholders

Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Financial Systems team
Headquarters and Overseas Finance staff
Global Knowledge and Information Management (GKIM) staff
External: Software support personnel
Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL experience.

  • Oracle Cloud Financial experience.

๏‚ท Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
๏‚ท Typing/Keyboard skills (>40 wpm)
๏‚ท Ability to learn technical concepts from manuals and documentation
๏‚ท Ability to identify and implement procedural and technical improvements
