- Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines.
- Implement delegated support function portfolio according to plan of action.
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function.
- Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.
Specific responsibilitiesย
BANK
- Daily bookkeeping, utilizing NRC Agresso accounting system.ย
CASH
Bookkeeping - Make sure that the cashbook post-back is updated with cash payment transactions daily and share with the Finance Coordinator for posting. Responsible for cashbox, cashflow and regular cash counts including the proper tracking of cash advances. Verify that the vouchers and the supporting documents meet NRC standards before proceeding with the payments.GENERAL
Ensure filing of all financial documents according to NRC standards. Support in the month-end closing processes by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the cash ledger and all supporting documentation is in place and properly coded. Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations Responsible for scanning and archiving finance documentation as per SSD guidelines for the Field Office on a weekly and monthly basis. Support the Finance Coordinator in audit preparations and audit close out.ย
