Job description

In 2023, the number of refugees worldwide has grown well over 100 million. More than 80 flee to poor and least developed countries in search of security, shelter and a new perspective for themselves and their families. This is where this Global Program with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) comes in. Inspired by the Global Compact for Refugees, it functions as a future lab and accelerator of efforts to reform and transform aid & support to refugees. Together with the UN refugee agency UNNHCR, it develops new concepts for humanitarian aid in forced displacement scenarios and in particular the integration of refugees into host communities. The guiding principle here is the integration of humanitarian, development and peacebuilding approaches and concepts in the sense of the HDP Nexus. The key element of this worldwide program is the implementation of extensive pilot projects in 11 countries worldwide.

Your tasks

Supporting the program management in the financial control of all 27 service packages of the global project Financial support and regular exchange with those responsible for implementation of the individual components in the country offices Promotion of the solution-oriented exchange of information between the program and the country components Supervision and monitoring of all financial processes of the global project Calculation of the regular change offers of the project Cash control of the overall project Support and quality assurance in the final invoice of the project Other tasks requested by the program director

Your profile

University degree in financial management, management or another relevant field Several years of proven experience in financial and administrative management of donor funded projects Solution-oriented, independent, structured and reliable way of working Motivation to work in a diverse team, sensitivity and commitment In-depth knowledge and many years of experience in using WINpaccs, OnSiteReporting, OnSite Operation and SAP Business fluent in English, German preferably
