EU WASH Driver

Plan International Pacific is seeking to hire a full time WASH Driver who will support the implementation of the South Bougainville EU WASH Project. The Driver will be responsible for transporting project staff and materials to various project sites in South Bougainville, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods and personnel. The Driver will also be responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the project vehicle. This is a full-time position based in South Bougainville, Papua New Guinea.
The role reports to Plan International PIPNG WASH Project Coordinator.
Do you have what it takes to be successful in this role?
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Valid Papua New Guinea driver's license, with a clean driving record. Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a similar role. Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic rules and regulations in Papua New Guinea. Familiarity with South Bougainville and its road networks is desirable. Basic vehicle maintenance skills, including the ability to perform minor repairs and handle routine maintenance tasks. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project staff and community members. Ability to work independently and take initiative when required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work in remote and challenging environments. Commitment to Plan International PNG's mission and values, including child protection principles. Previous work experience in Bougainville or can relocate to AROB in Arawa Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
