Coordinator-MC Secondary and PSCD will be responsible for the management & implementation of education in emergencies interventions and budget. S/he will manage education programs of Myanmar Curriculum Secondary grades and Pre-service Capacity Development (PSCD) of Rohingya female to ensure that the Rohingya children (7-18 years age) graduate successfully achieving required learning competency and female achieve the competency to became potential teachers in camp. The role involves providing educational opportunities and support to children and families to support them to achieve their education goals, as well as supervision of the education programs and services, including relevant documents & data management. The Coordinator-MC Secondary and PSCD will manage relationships with Technical Officers of MC Secondary and PSCD and volunteers at Rohingya camps.

The Role Purpose:

The position holder directly working with Technical Officers of MC Secondary and PSCD and indirectly monitor teachers, community level volunteers through Technical Officer-MC Secondary and PSCD.

Closely support to Project Manager for expenditure of MC Secondary and PSCD component.

Maintain strong working relationships with Camp level officials, Majhis, volunteers, community people and sub-district level officials including negotiating scope of works, addressing requisite revisions in project work, and addressing issues that may arise.

Will take pro-active stance for Plan International Bangladesh in identifying and mitigating risks in project implementation.

Actively participates in meetings/workshops/seminars/trainings at the camp, sub-district and district level, as well as national level as asked/guided.

The position holder will supervise and follow up Technical Officers of MC Secondary and PSCD in accomplishing the project activities as per plan.
