  1. Role and responsibilities

    The purpose of the assistant position is to assist in the day to day implementation of the Education programme.ย 

    Generic responsibilities (max 10)

    These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work- and Professional Development Plan.

Assist with the implementation of the programme portfolio according to plan of action Prepare and develop status reports as required by management Ensure proper filing of documents Promote and share ideas for improvement of the programme function

Specific responsibilitiesย 

These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.

Ensure compliance with NRC procedures, tools and policiesย  Carry out data collection as required in all the schools in the payam Ensure timely supply & distribution of teaching & learning Materials and recreational materials to the schools etc. Support teachers and children to initiate activities through mentoring in learning centres that meet the psycho-social needs of the displaced children and teachers in the payam In consultation with the Project officer and teachers to facilitate the running of education activities in his/her area of operation Administrate teachersโ€™ and school mothersโ€™ payments and entitlements in the payam Assists teachers in making lesson plans, Scheme of work, class registers, records of work covered & progress record of learners. Assist the teachers in their work and report all protection related concerns and Issues Ensure proper distribution of food & collection of daily food consumption forms to the schools Support in Organizing & Conducting training of PTAs, Hygiene Clubs, Community mobilization Meeting and girl clubs in schools supported by NRC education department. Visit schools to identify Education needs and to disseminate them to the officer. Ensure School records are kept and filled properly in all the schools in the designated payam Carryout daily monitoring and Supervision of learning Situation & daily food consumption in/out of classroom in all schools in the payam Disseminate hygiene related messages in schools he/she is assigned for per the payam Ensure the attendant list for meetings, trainings are properly sign or thumb print. Compile and send timely report to project officer Education. Other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Education staff in project area and in other NRC offices
