Under the direction of a Section Chief of Economic Data Lifecycle Engineering of the Information Technology Department (ITD), the Economic Data System Engineer serves as a member of the Economic Data Lifecycle Engineering Section and should provide Fund-wide services on Economic Data Lifecycle Engineering. These services are associated with the Fundโ€™s business capabilities of surveillance, lending, and capacity development. Specifically, the services Section offers include designing and implementing economic data engineering systems that span from data acquisition to sharing through transformation and migration to sharing and visualization. The selected candidate will be responsible to explore, identify, assess, and provide data engineering and technical services that support the entire data lifecycle. In addition, the selected candidate will advise economists and financial experts on specialized support in managing their various economic services and systems, including the assessing requirements and solution design and implementation. The selected candidate will also be responsible of delivering data engineering services while accounting for solutionsโ€™ aspects of risks, availability, scalability, reusability, performance, and integrity.
