FHI 360 has an exciting internship opportunity for students interested in growing their skills within the international development sector. FHI 360โ€™s Public Engagement team (housed under Corporate Communications) is looking for an Events & Outreach Intern to help develop and execute corporate events and conference communications.

Work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-oriented, multi-media communications

department to help develop and execute corporate events and conference communications for both virtual and in-person events. Under close supervision, the Events & Outreach Intern will perform entry-level event management and public engagement/relations professional duties, providing the opportunity for professional training in those and other functional areas within the organization. Internship assignments offer practical experience and broad exposure to a global nonprofit development organization.

This is a paid internship with a flexible schedule based on project needs.

Anticipated Duration: 2024 Spring Semester (early to mid-January to mid-May)

Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Location: Hybrid, Washington, DC (in the office once a week)
