About the Program:
Through its network of global and local experts, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities supports city- and national-level change for people and the planet, focusing on integrated solutions to new and long-standing urban challenges, primarily in the Global South. The WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Citiesโ One Atmosphere program is committed to accelerating human and ecosystem health by identifying and addressing the root causes of air pollution. We manage a number of programs, including the Clean Air Catalyst, and are a delivery partner of the SCALE initiative.
The Clean Air Catalyst, a flagship initiative of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID - Cooperative Agreement), is a global partnership led by WRI and the Environmental Defense Fund and supported by seven global atmospheric science, public health, media, and policy partners. By combining scientific analysis, community engagement and strategic coalition building, the Clean Air Catalyst focuses on locally tailored, cost-effective and sustainable air quality interventions that can help reduce air pollution and achieve health, climate and equity goals in Kenya, Indonesia and India. Subnational Climate Action Leadersโ Exchange (SCALE), is an initiative launched at COP27 last year and supported by the U.S. State Department and Bloomberg Philanthropies. It aims to empower subnational champions to drive ambition at the national and international level and leverage action and advocacy organized around a set of high-level thematic and sectoral goals needed to keep a 1.5-aligned, climate-resilient future within reach. In its first phase, it is focusing on accelerating implementation of the Global Methane Pledge and its call for a 30 percent reduction in methane emissions by 2030.
Job Highlight:
Reporting to the Chief of Party, Clean Air Catalyst and Global Lead, Air Quality, you will serve as Project Manager, Climate Clean Air to accelerate integrated climate and clean air solutions in cities around the world. In this role, you will work closely with project partners and colleagues across WRI and ensure effective strategy development, project management and reporting, research and analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Potential Salary:
Salary range for the position is between 96,000 USD to 116,000 USD if based in the US. Local salary scales are used in our other country locations to determine compensation.
